Mark your calendar now for the traditional UUCLR Memorial Day Weekend Float Trip along the Buffalo River. All the group sites and the pavilion at Buffalo Point have been reserved for the weekend of Friday, May 23th to Monday, May 26th. Group floats are planned for Saturday and Sunday, and a dinner (main dish grilled by Paul Clifford including veggie, plus potluck by campers) and campfire will be held Saturday night. The float on Saturday departs at 10:00 am from Highway 14 bridge with takeout at 4:00 pm at Rush. On Sunday, we will catch a shuttle at 10 am from the Highway 14 bridge and head to Upper Maumee, where our float begins. Takeout is at the Highway 14 bridge.

The fee for camping this year will be $7.50 per person per night. We were able to reserve the pavilion again this year, so campers will have adequate shelter to weather a broad range of (but not all) conditions. The cost of canoeing is set by the vendor and is $42 per boat per day (which includes the shuttle fee). We have reserved 40 canoes for Saturday, 20 for Sunday, so register early to hold your boat. We can get more boats if you register early.
