Jewish and Christian roots, that is. The
Unitarian and Universalist movements both grew out of Christianity,
Judaism, and the other, early
monotheistic traditions that folks today call Judaism. As UU’s we
count Christians and Jews as members of our spiritual world family.
This year, our elementary group will learn
stories, songs, holidays, and rituals from Judaism and Christianity. The
Kindergarten-2nd Graders will study Super Heroes: Bible People, and the
3rd-5th Graders will explore the Timeless Themes of Judaism and
Christianity and meet Jesus and His Kingdom of Equals.
