School Food Pantry – This program is moving to McDermott Elementary! Volunteer opportunities will resume shortly. Primary Contact: Nell Matthews

The Van – Members volunteer at the Van warehouse in SW Little Rock to sort and arrange clothing donations.  Primary Contact: Cas Rifkin

Our House Monthly Meal – Volunteers cook, deliver and serve a meal at the Our House shelter on the third Tuesday of each month.  Primary Contact: Kevin Jones

Pride Events & Outreach – Get active at various events throughout the year! We have a regular presence at these events – walking in the parades and hosting a booth to share information about our church and programs for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Peace & Justice Action – Various UUCLR teams connect members who wish to participate in social justice work such as contacting our state government’s leaders and showing up at local marches or protests. While these are not UUCLR-sponsored activities, our individual members find strength in numbers and have fun preparing together with sign-making and such.

Can Recycling – Bring your aluminum cans to the church for recycling to support the church financially! UUCLR member, Lance Scott, picks them up, recycles them, and donates the money to the church.  Please put them in the bin behind the arbor in plastic bags (no paper bags – they get wet and disintegrate). 

Eyeglass Recycling – Bring your gently used glasses to the basket in the foyer at any time. Donated glasses are collected, cleaned, sorted by prescription, and then distributed through Lions Clubs International’s optical missions and other charitable efforts. Primary Contact: Jan Bowen
